MEET
MELODY VALIER

Melody comes to THLH with a wealth of experience in the billing field.  She began her career in healthcare 25 years ago with the last 10 years working for children with autism to receive the services they most desperately need. Prior to work in the ABA field, Melody was a Consultant with Optum (United Healthcare) for 11 years working in the hospital sector reviewing insurance credit balances and analyzing insurance contracts to ensure hospitals were properly paid for services rendered. Although she found it rewarding, she yearned for more meaningful work.

 

Melody has an expertise in and passion for helping families and providers navigate the challenges of insurance coverage.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the behavioral health arena. Melody has spent the better part of her career working for companies that change lives and is excited about starting her role with THLH and continuing that passion.

In Melody's spare time, she loves spending time with her wife, Barb, and their Shih Tzu named Maddie and their munchkin cat named Lolly. She loves to travel, read a good book, go for afternoon tea, and yard saling during the summer months!
